An in-person and online counselling & psychotherapy practice for individuals and couples based in Surrey, Hampshire and London
Most of us come to therapy seeking change.
My focus is on what makes change possible for you.
About Me
I am an MA qualified psychotherapist and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy). This means I adhere to the ethical and professional standards of the BACP.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I believe in drawing on a range of theories, allowing me to work with flexibility and in accordance with the specific needs of the individual or couple.
This begins by offering a confidential, open, accepting and supportive environment where we will explore what is happening for you and how this is impacting your daily life. Most of us arrive at therapy having asked ourselves, “Why am I feeling like this?”
I hold the relationship between client and therapist as of the utmost importance, regarding this relationship as key to unlocking potential change. When we feel truly seen and heard, understood and validated, we thrive.
My previous employment experience includes working in corporate environments, giving me an appreciation of the pressure and stresses we face when managing personal, work, relationship and family needs.
I have volunteered as a counsellor at a charitable organisation which supports the mental health needs of vulnerable individuals in the community.

My Practice
My intention is to offer you a safe and non-judgemental space, to encourage your self-exploration and reflection. I am committed to working collaboratively with you, at your pace, to build a relationship of trust.
My approach to therapy is one of genuine interest and curiosity about you. Our dialogue is conversational, an on-going conversation about you. I want to hear your experiences and understand how you see yourself and your perspective on the world.
The importance of our relationship sits at the centre of my practice. My intention is to gradually bring into the room what I notice about you. This may feel unusual at first and may present challenges at times but will always be offered with respect for the person who sits in front of me.
My practice integrates modalities which are tailored to your situation, your challenges and needs. I draw on various philosophies and techniques, such as psychodynamic exploration of your past experiences and how these maybe impacting or stifling you in the present. An awareness and understanding of past ways of being can inform your present and enable you to make positive changes.
“Real freedom is the ability to pause between stimulus and response, and in that pause, choose.” - Rollo May
I utilise techniques such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) to offer psychoeducation and strategies which may help challenge negative thought patterns and enable you to align with your future goals and intentions.

Anxiety
Depression
Feeling overwhelmed
Family issues
Isolation & loneliness
Low self-esteem/self-confidence

Contact
I believe it is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client that is imperative to therapy in facilitating growth and change. Therefore, I encourage anyone seeking therapy to speak to several practitioners to see who feels the most comfortable fit for you.
With this in mind, I offer a brief introductory phone conversation to see how you feel about talking with me. Should you then wish to proceed, therapy would take place on a weekly basis at a mutually agreed time for a 50-minute session. This will either be in person or online.
How long we work together will be entirely your decision. I offer open-ended therapy, meaning there is no specific time frame, but we will continuously assess and review how you feel about our work together.
In Surrey, my practice room is in Farnham and in Hampshire, my practice room is situated in Alresford (just off the A31), which is easily accessible from Winchester, Basingstoke, Alton and Petersfield. Please enquire regarding London locations.
